We keep data only for so long as is necessary for that purpose, unless there is a legal or regulatory requirement for us to retain the data for a longer period, or we need to do so for audit or accounting purposes or to ensure we have an accurate record of singers who participated in past events.

You can register with our website if you would like to receive news about Ryde Chorus, including information about our concerts. All personal details are retained in compliance with this privacy policy.

Purchasing Tickets
Purchasing of tickets online from Ryde Chorus is handled by a third party service provider, TicketSource, whose site can be accessed from our website. Except in relation to purchases of tickets for certain of our events, we do not hold any personal purchasing information on our website or on any other database. Credit card data provided to us for the purpose of buying tickets for one of our concerts or events is deleted no later than one year after the concert or event took place. Ryde Chorus does not have access to any card or financial data as this information is only provided to TicketSource. As our Data Processor, TicketSource have their own Privacy Policy which you can access from the tickets page.

If you purchase tickets to a Ryde Chorus concert through our website, your data may be retained for up to 1 year after the concert to assist with booking queries and any payment disputes which may arise after the event.

Marketing Consent
During the booking process, you will be asked if you would like to receive information from Ryde Chorus, about our products, services, and future events. We invite you to opt-in to marketing consent and state which communication method you would prefer (email | post | text message).

Deletion of Data held by us
We review the personal data we hold at regular intervals and delete any personal data which is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected unless we have the consent of the person to whom it relates to retain it or we need to retain it for legal, accounting or regulatory reasons or to ensure we have an accurate record of ticket holders who attended past events.

How you can access or correct your Information or ask us to delete it

Corrections or deletions will normally be made within one month of the relevant request being received, however please note, however, that we will only be able to correct personal data if the error to be corrected and the correct information are clear from the email we receive.
