A message from Carolyn, our Chair
2013 promises to be an exciting year for Ryde Chorus, with opportunities to develop your voice and singing skills and to perform at home and abroad.
The Christmas Season was a busy and enjoyable time for the choir, with good supportive audiences at our two concerts; see www.rydechorus.org for the County Press review and a performance of Bogoroditse via ‘YouTube.’
The Committee and I are very grateful to everyone who contributes time and skills towards the continuing development of Ryde Chorus. There is always room for more and if you have ideas for fund-raising, ticket sales, website development, publicity, concert venues, recruitment, music … we are eager to hear from you.
Here’s to a very happy musical New Year!
Spring Term rehearsals
Please note that we have moved back to the Hall in the Junior School at Ryde School for most of our rehearsals this term.

This promises to be a fun-filled day with a highly experienced choral conductor and composer. Jonathan has run a number of these events over the years – and they are always extremely popular!
The charge for the event is £20 per person, which is extremely good value for a whole day of quality singing.
We will be working on :

Jonathan’s Lux Perpetua
John Rutter’s Requiem
[Music will be provided]
For further details pick up a leaflet at the next rehearsal.
